What is MDT SCREW

It’s the type of screw developed by Morishita Co., Ltd. to reduce the fastening time & cost and to secure the stable tightening

1. At the point of screw, MDT SCREW has the threads of non-round cross section that make

internal threads by forming process.
2. Over half of threaded portion, MDT SCREW has the threads of round cross section. This
  enables to maintain
wide range of driving torque for generating high locking torque
  and stable axial tension.
3. MDT SCREW has "groove" (undercut) on its bearing surface of screw head, which secures
the stable fastening with thin metal sheet.

4.     MDT SCREW is designed to facilitate the screw driving at the time of engagement with
  holes.
Unlike usual tapping screws, MDT SCREW engages with the holes at 2 positions of screw
  threads for
better screwing-in quality.

5.   MDT SCREW has wider pitch of threads and this enables to cut down the time of screw
   driving by 50 to 70%
as compared with normal selftapping screws.  MDT SCREW also enables
to cut down the time of unfastening for disassembly, which meets the requirements

of “Home Appliances Recycling Law (2001)”.
